    1. Hi Emily,

The Graco 4ever has 6 recline positions while the Safety 1st Grow and Go only have 3 recline positions.

  1. Hello! I have researched SO much about this and your reviews have been very helpful. I am looking for a car seat that does not take a lot of space in the rear facing position for my one-year-old so the person in front of that seat does not compromise comfort nor security. He has very sensitive skin and is pretty intense, I do not want him to get either a rash or get off the seat as soon as he discovers how to take out the harness. I’m in between the Maxi Cosí 85, Graco 4ever, Chicco Nextfit and Evenflo LX.

    Which one would you recommend?

I need to buy one for the grandparents’ vehicle too, they have a larger car so it’s not a problem of space here. The only thing is that it needs to be super easy to install (they do not have nor patience or strength). A review of car seats for grandparents would be awesome!

    Thanks!!

    1. Hi Maria,

Of the 4 choices you mentioned, the Chicco Nextfit is the bulkiest, followed by the Maxi Cosi Pria 85 Max, then Graco 4ever. Rear-facing, the Graco 4ever (My Review Here) would be the most “space-saver.” Take note though that all three are not slim.

I’m not sure which Evenflo LX are you referring to but I have reviewed the Tribute LX and Triumph LX and between the two, the Tribute LX would be the most “space-saver” rear-facing wise.

Have you checked the Graco Slimfit? It’s a good choice.

For the grandparents’ vehicle, I highly suggest one of the easiest to install – Evenflo Everystage DLX (My Review Here).

      I hope this helps.

      Kind Regards,

      Pitin

  2. Great info. I have been searching and comparing for a few months now. I do have one question why the steel frame? Is it safer than not having it? Thx.

    1. Hi Nikki,

All car seats must pass a certain standard crash test. When a company builds a seat with a steel-reinforced frame, they are trying to surpass the standard tests. They want to prove that they can provide the strength that is needed to withstand real-world crash forces, therefore indirectly implying that they are better than the plastic ones.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind Regards,
      Pitin

  3. I am looking to update a car seat for my baby as she gets bigger and the one we have is getting kinda small for her. I am also looking into all in one car seat so it will last my baby until she outgrows it completely. I liked that Graco actually provides you even with the latest option of a back free booster seat. It is more expensive but I think it is worth the money for me in a long run. Thank you for the review, very helpful comparison!

    1. Hi Anna,

      Glad my review helped. 🙂

I think you are safe to choose any since both are good seats. It’s just a matter of preference. 🙂

      Regards,
      Pitin

    1. Hi Maylene,

      You’re welcome. 🙂

Are you referring to “infant car seat carriers” or those “baby carriers” that are wearable?

      Regards,
      Pitin
