Installing Graco4ever In Rear And Forward-Facing Mode Using The Latch
Some parents say that the length of the LATCH strap is NOT ENOUGH. Because the latch strap can get so short, it would sometimes not reach the hooks. This is because you have to make sure that you are inserting the LATCH straps in the slot for rear-facing if you are installing rear-facing and putting it in the forward-facing slot if doing a forward-facing install.
Take note: The Latch system can only be used until your child is 42 pounds
Here’s an extremely helpful video to guide you to install the Graco 4ever in rear-facing and forward-facing mode using the LATCH.
This video will also show you how to move the LATCH straps from rear-facing to forward-facing slots and vice versa.
You will also learn how to keep the 5-point harness in the seat once you don’t need them anymore as well as convert the seat into a backless mode.

Unlike some seats that are strictly for hand-wash only, Graco 4ever all-in-one seat can be thrown into the washing machines for washing.
Note that some parents say that putting it back together after washing can be time-consuming.
The Matrix color seems to be made of unbreathable fabric, which can make your child sweat a lot as reported by some parents from the seat’s Amazon reviews.
If you ever happen to purchase one with the said problem, Graco can send you a replacement chair with a different kind of fabric which will immediately solve the problem. Just don’t be hesitant to contact Graco customer service as they are highly regarded as prompt and has an excellent customer service.
The cupholders are a great addition. Some seats don’t have it. One thing to note is that the drinks in there can get it the way when strapping your child in the seat. Best to remove whatever is there first to avoid any hassle.
The location of the cup holders are also a bit too far for younger kids, they might have difficulty reaching their drinks.
Name Of The Product: Graco 4ever All-in-One Convertible Car Seat
Cheapest Place To Buy
In a nutshell here are the Pros and Cons.
- High weight and height limit
- Backless booster feature not found in most All-In-One car seats
- Steel-reinforced frame
- Easy to buckle and unbuckle
- Machine-washable cover
- No-rethread harness
- Easy to remove cover
- 10 years expiration date
- Comes with two cup holders
- Shoulder harness has pads for comfort
- Some colors are not breathable
- Relatively heavy
- Challenging to put back the seat cover
- Cup holder position a bit too far for younger children
- Might not work for a newborn
For the price, you can probably buy a cheap rear facing, front facing, and booster seats separately. But some cheap seats aren’t as safe as a steel frame all-in-one seat like the Graco 4ever.
It might not be a perfect fit for newborns as the plush inserts that it comes with to keep your child comfortable, is only applicable to children who are already a bit older. It is great to use once your child has learned to support their own neck (around 8 months plus).
The promise of accommodating a child until they have reached 120 pounds and 57 inches (booster) is not something that you can just ignore.
So, will this all-in-one seat make it to your list?
I highly suggest that you check out the feedbacks of parents who got this seat to verify your decision.
