Tightening and loosening the LATCH straps might need you to pull some muscles. Some parents can’t help but compare it with their Chicco Nextfit Zip, which, seems to be easier to install.
The rear-facing installation will need you to use a pool noodle or a rolled towel.

Because of the steel frame that it is built with, it is heavy – around 19.5 pounds.
It is good to know that you can easily wipe clean any mess that comes in contact with the seat. Take note though that it is not machine-washable.
Be sure to hand wash it to avoid fraying. If you notice that the seams are wearing out even if you are properly taking care of the seat cover, call Britax and ask for a seat cover replacement.
Once you buckle your child in, the leg straps will hit across your little one’s thighs. Sometimes, they are so tight that it would really dig in thus making your child uncomfortable.
This is mainly because of the insert under the rear-end which says that it needs to be there until your child is 25 pounds.
Although removing the insert will solve the problem, it is best to contact Britax so they can provide you with longer belts, which, according to some parents, are free of charge.
Once you get hold of the longer straps, refer to the video on how to remove and replace the harness straps.

Cheapest Place To Buy
For a premium car seat that is undoubtedly safe, it is a bummer that the child’s comfort is sacrificed. Not having longer straps will leave red marks on the thigh areas of your little passenger because of the continuous rubbing against the straps.
Britax should just manufacture a new version of this seat and make the straps longer.
Don’t try to loosen the belt just to make your child’s thighs breathe. It will make the straps around the chest a bit too loose, which is not safe.
The Britax Marathon G4.1 has very limited recline angles – three, to be exact. Letting a child who cannot support their heads yet sit can be quite dangerous as they might end up with their head falling forward during nap time – that’s dangerous.
I would say that it is best to use this seat ONLY WHEN your child is old enough to support their head, which usually happens from six months onwards.
I highly suggest that you check out the feedbacks of parents who bought this seat.
