Certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s smallest stroller when folded, a GB Pockit Stroller is the most compact lightweight stroller you will ever see, at least as of writing this review.
Having a folded dimension of 12 inches by 7 inches by 20 inches, you can fit it in a large backpack or shopping bag. You can even place it in an airplane’s overhead compartment or under the seat, a desk drawer, a swimming pool locker or even in another stroller’s large storage basket. You can also carry it on its own without the “bulk.”
My friend owns this stroller and this is probably the coolest stroller I have ever seen.
Let’s learn more about it.

The First Thing You Need To Learn – Folding And Unfolding It
The folding and unfolding would need you to use both of your hands. It can be tricky to do it as it is the first time that a stroller like this has been made available. Once it is folded, it can stand on its own.
These videos can help!
If you are having a hard time opening it, try tilting it face down before giving it a strong downward shake. You have to hear a “click” in order to know that it is already safe to use.
How’s The Stroller Seat?
The stroller seat can accommodate children of up to 55 pounds. The seat cannot recline any further. But because it is already comfortably reclined, you don’t have to worry about the comfort of your child when sleeping.
If your child cannot yet sit up on their own, wait until they can because it can be dangerous if you sit a small baby who cannot yet support their necks.
The seat padding material is a comfy, washable fabric. You can remove it if you need to wash it. And putting it back after washing is quite easy.
The seat also has an adjustable five-point harness that you can reposition as your child grows.
How Easy Is It To Maneuver?
The stroller has front wheels that can either swivel 360 degrees or can be locked for stability on surfaces that are not even. DO NOT expect a smooth ride on bumpy surfaces as the wheels are relatively small and standard.
I had the chance to push this stroller with my friend’s daughter in it who was two years old then. It sort of felt “trembling.” I think the “rickety” feel was because it has too many joints.
Nevertheless, I feel it is okay to use occasionally especially if you need its compactness and portability. An air travel is a good occasion.
If you stand 6′ and above, you might find that the handlebar is a bit too low. In that case, you can push it with one hand from the side. There’s a crossbar between the two handles but you have to close the canopy to do that.
Speaking Of The Canopy, How Is It?
There’s a very little coverage that the canopy can provide. It’s only like a foot wide. It will do nothing to protect your child from the sun let alone the rain or the snow. It’s best to get a compatible universal rayshade or a rain cover.

How Is The Storage Basket?
The basket below the seat can hold your stuff of up to 11 pounds. It is quite spacious to fit a toddler bag or a tote with a dimension of 11.5 inches wide and 14 inches high.
The tricky thing about the basket is that there is a bar that is in the way so if the bag you are trying to put inside has something hard and rigid inside it, you will not be able to squeeze it in the basket. That means whatever you need to put in the basket should be just small or if it’s a bag, it should only have soft stuff inside like baby clothes.
If you have quite a large diaper bag, you cannot hang it in the handlebars. Well, it is not really advisable to do so in the first place. But some sturdy strollers are “okay” to accept diaper bags on the handlebar.

Conclusion
I almost bought this stroller but I managed to stop myself, LOL. The price point was a bit too high for what we can afford. And the shipping to Singapore was like the price of another good stroller. The lack of cup holder, parent tray, and child’s tray made it look even more expensive.
I needed an umbrella stroller for every day use and I didn’t want a “luxury” umbrella stroller to do the job.
However, if I am a jet-setter, I would probably without a doubt get this stroller. The fact that it is impressively compact and lightweight (9.5 pounds) is something very relevant. You don’t to check this in because the folded dimensions meet the requirement for a carry-on luggage.
Also if you need to travel alone with your little one in a crowded public transport, the size of it will prove to be very handy.
It is small but sturdy enough for its purpose.
I highly suggest that you check out what other parents are saying about this stroller. It can help you weigh the pros and cons more.

Hey Pittin
At first this stroller seemed to be the one I am looking for – I am really tired of those heavy strollers lifting them up and down, in the car and out of it. My back says loud NO to suchlike fitness 🙂
However, after reading your review – I think I need to continue looking 🙁 Firstly, it is due to the price – little bit too high for me. Secondly, as I live in rural area this stroller wouldn’t be suitable for no-roads here.
Any good suggestion for me?
Hi Arta,
I have to be very honest with you. If you are looking for an umbrella stroller that will perform very well off-roads, you will not be able to find one that will 100{0b94e73e5e915ecbcf303cb4742b71cc2938bb096419f627339ee9d65669f423} satisfy you. Umbrella strollers’ wheels are usually not meant for the grass, dirt roads, and rough surfaces. However, they will roll “okay” but not smoothly. And with everyday use, they might just give in easily.
What you should be using is an all-terrain stroller, but they are HUGE and HEAVY most of the time, something that you have specifically pointed out that you don’t want to be using.
There is an umbrella stroller though that has “an all-terrain wheel with front suspension” as claimed by the manufacturer. You can read my review about it here.
I hope this helps.

Oh wow, I like how small it gets when it is folded! My first worry was, how hard it was going to be to set up once folded. The video shows how simple it can be actually. I think this is the perfect stroller for traveling with because of the fact that it can fold up. I don’t like all the joints and the rickety feel you described, but when flying or going on long trips, it seems pretty doable.
Hi there,
The “rickety” feel is actually quite okay, but then again, I worry that if I use it everyday, it would not be able to last long.
But my friend who bought this has a very good feedback about it. She said it’s one of the baby stuff they purchased that they never regretted. That’s a good enough assurance for me from someone that I know and trust. 🙂

Pitin
Hello Pitin,
I think this stroller has many benefits, as long as the user is competent in its folding process. And unfolding it for use, of course.
The baskets seem like a pretty good perk too, in relation to how compact this stroller can be.
Thank you!
Hi Roman,
I agree. Some other super compact umbrella strollers don’t even come with a basket at all. Its basket is indeed a huge plus for the GB pockit given its size.

Hello Pitin
It`s good to know that a stroller with so many advantages come with a very user-friendly prize tag.It sure is convenient for people who travel with kids, fold and put away even in small spaces in the car.
Thanks for sharing, really appreciate.
Hi Roamy,
It is surprisingly cheaper nowadays compared to when I first attempted to buy it (it is now $100 cheaper). Had it been that “affordable” then, I could have gotten it, too, but since I am a very practical person and I am not a frequent traveler, I opted not to.
However, if you are going to put it in your baby registry, the price tag would be more”manageable” since your friends/family can help you get it. I would definitely consider getting it for my next child, I guess it would even be cheaper by then.
Regards,
Pitin
