When choosing between The Evenflo Symphony Elite Or Graco 4ever DLX, you’re safe to choose any of the two. They are as equally functional and safe. Although I'd choose the Evenflo Symphony Elite (a.k.a DLX) to save money, Graco 4ever DLX's cost is justifiable too - and for good reason!

Consider narrowing down your options by focusing on those made with EPP or EPS foam for impact management. Both materials meet government safety regulations, but EPP foam is more elastic and less brittle than EPS foam, making it better at withstanding multiple impacts and regaining its shape.
Keep in mind that any seat involved in an accident should be replaced, regardless of the foam type.

The Evenflo Symphony Elite and the Graco 4ever DLX are approximately USD 70 apart. The Graco 4ever DLX is more expensive. Now let’s see what the added cost is for.
- It can be converted to a backless booster seat, which can accommodate a child of up to 120 pounds instead of the 110-pound limit of the Elite.
- You need not use a pool noodle or rolled towels when installing.
- It has a longer expiration date.
- It comes with shoulder harness pads in the straps.
Now let’s see what the advantages of the Symphony Elite are if you try to save that USD 70 dollar.
- It has a higher forward-facing height limit. Although it’s not much. Just 1 inch more.
- It has a higher high back booster weight limit.
- It’s made in the USA.
- It’s a little lighter than the Graco 4ever DLX.
- The height of the seat harness is not strictly locked to a certain position. You can adjust it accordingly by just sliding it up and down.
With the above advantages over each other, the Graco 4ever DLX has features that Symphony Elite doesn’t have, and vice versa. It will now just depend on how you plan to use the seat and in what vehicle.
In getting the Evenflo Symphony Elite, it is ideal to keep it installed in one vehicle.
Although it is lighter to transfer to another vehicle compared to the Graco 4ever DLX, it is super bulky to carry around. You’d also need a large vehicle to comfortably accommodate everyone, especially the seat directly opposite it.

Can you review the Evenflo Everystage DLX car seat? What do you think about it? Would you recommend it? Thanks.
Also, which lightweight stroller do you recommend? I was thinking of the Graco breeze.
Thanks. Sorry if it is a lot lol.

I just bought a graco carseat and stroller combo for my baby coming in November. I want the ability to take the carseat out and carry it around with me and easily place it in the stroller. But I’m also interested in getting one of the forever car seats, especially after learning they don’t expire for 10 years! It seems like a great car seat that can potentially last for all of your kids. Thank you for your comparisons, But I think I would lean toward the Evenflo car seat because of the breathable fabric and $70 savings. Thanks!
Hi Kelli,
The Graco 4ever is indeed very tempting especially that it expires two years longer than the Symphony Elite. However, I don’t want to think very far. The 8 years of the Symphony Elite is already worth the money, in my opinion, especially that you get to enjoy almost the same benefit plus the extra savings.

Pitin
