Installing the seat rear-facing would need you to pay close attention to the horizontal line found at the side of the seat. You will need to align it to the ground to have a proper rear-facing recline.
Leveling the horizontal line in the seat to the ground would sometimes need you to use rolled up towels or pool noodles.
See this video on how you can install the seat rear-facing with LATCH.

Some parents find it frustrating to get the proper rear-facing install since their installation moves more than an inch, side to side or front to back.
Be aware though that the only place you need to check for a proper install is at the belt path with one hand.
Installing the car seat forward-facing and with the seatbelt is regarded as easier to be done.
There are two belt paths to use – under the child’s legs for rear-facing install and for forward-facing, the seatbelt should go behind the child’s back.
To safely install the seat forward-facing and using the seat belt, thread the belt to the correct path and buckle the seat. Next, pull on the shoulder belt and push the car seat towards the back of the vehicle. After which you have to put the seat belt in a locking mode.
If your vehicle’s seatbelt does not come with a locking mode, you need to make use of a locking clip.
Once done, check for movement at the belt path. It shouldn’t move an inch side to side and front to back.

The seat seems to be very well-padded and comfortable.
It is lightweight enough to lug around with you should you need to air travel with it.
Take note that the seat cover should be hand-washed and air dried. The plastic parts of the seat can be wiped clean and the harness straps can be spot-cleaned if needs cleaning.
For parents that are bothered by the lack of seat harness pads on the seat harness, they can contact the manufacturer for the “approved harness covers.” It is for the safety of the little passenger that you don’t anyhow attach any 3rd party accessory to the car seat harness.
Doing a seat belt installation seems to be the most ideal way to install it easily.
Most of the time, the recline rear-facing is “secured” with pool noodles or rolled towels. If the line on the side of the seat is already leveled to the ground, then you have the proper angle – but what if a newborn needs to lie flatter?
Forward-facing, a toddler also do not have a “recline for comfort” feature as the seat sits straight up.
It seems that the “comfort” of the passenger, only comes from the good padding surrounding the seat.
For the price point, it looks like it is okay to use it as a backup seat for an older child, installed in a car that your child will seldom ride on.
I highly suggest that you check out the feedbacks of other parents who got this seat to help you further verify your decision.
