In this article, I’ll help you choose between the Graco Milestone and the Graco Slimfit. Let’s get started.

|Booster Height Limit:|

The Graco Milestone is “slimmer” in width when compared to the Slimfit.
If you rotate the cupholder of the Slimfit inwards, it will somehow reduce the width of the Slimfit. But it only makes it “just almost” as slim as the Milestone.

Installing the Graco Slimfit in all modes seems to be easier to do than the Milestone. Parents seem to not need a pool noodle or rolled up towels in installing, too.
The Graco Milestone, however, is not completely a pain to install. The best way to easily manage the tough rear-facing installation seems to be achieved using the LATCH. But the seatbelt installation can be a challenge to do both in rear and forward-facing modes.

|Easy To Buckle And Unbuckle?|
There is one thing worth noting about the Graco Milestone’s straps. Some parents would say it’s easy to release - so manageable that even a toddler can easily loosen it up by pulling them. Its chest clip seems to be very easy to buckle and unbuckle, too.

The breathability of the seat material that the Slimfit seat is made up of hasn’t been questioned by most parents who got them.
The Milestone’s seat material, however, has been allegedly said to have higher amounts of flame retardant.
Another thing worth mentioning about the Milestone is the presence of an annoying “rattling” sound. Some parents seem to notice it once the headrest position is changed to a different level.
The Milestone and the Slimfit have most of the time the same price tag.
Here the things that make the Slimfit a standout when compared to the Milestone.
- It is easier to install in all modes even without the help of a pool noodle or a rolled-up towel.
- While the chest straps are easy to use, it doesn’t anyhow loosen up by itself. The chest clip is also more secured.
- The seat material is comfortable since it is made up of a breathable fabric.
- There’s no rattling sound that can annoy driving parents.
Now let’s see what the Milestone has.
- It’s slimmer than the Slimfit by default and even after the Slimfit’s cupholder is rotated inwards.
- It’s a little bit lighter, although the difference is not very significant.
It’s an obvious choice for me. Between the two, I’d go with the Slimfit.*
