The Kolcraft Cloud Stroller is easy to assemble, lightweight and provides a smooth ride across flat pavements. It is of good quality but I highly doubt that you will be happy using it on a daily basis.
Here’s everything you need to know about this umbrella stroller.

How Secure Is It To Use?
The seat comes with a three-point harness. A five-point harness is always more secure so it would be good if they would improve this feature.
Does The Kolcraft Cloud Umbrella Stroller Recline?
The seat of this stroller does not recline at all. When your child needs to sleep, expect that your little one will be positioned in an almost upright position.
The sides of the stroller don’t seem to have enough space to lean on to. But the seat cover can roll up and serve as a headrest. In addition, rolling up the seat cover will expose a mesh netting which gives a nice ventilation especially during hot climates.
How’s The Wheels?
The wheels in front of the stroller swivels while the two back wheels do not. They are not meant for all terrains and it would be good if you will avoid using this stroller off-roads. It can only be used in flat and not very rough pavements.
The brakes can be found on the rear wheels. You can use your foot to lift it one by one to release it or step on it to engage it.
The Kolcraft Umbrella Stroller Canopy
The canopy is extendable and provides a decent amount of coverage. It has a “lock” to keep it in place especially when it is windy. Also, you can push it all the way down to the point of covering your child’s face – but of course you wouldn’t want to do that, LOL. I’m just saying that it can be moved all the way down to maximize sun protection.
The Stroller Handle
The stroller handle is padded for comfort. But here’s the part you wouldn’t like: the height of it is not very comfortable to push in proportion to tall people.
It is somewhat “low” for people that stand 5’6″ and above. You would have to hunch a bit because the handle is not adjustable.
How To Fold The Kolcraft Cloud Stroller
In order to fold the stroller, make sure that you push the canopy down a little to give way to the handle. To unfold it, you don’t have to use both hands. Best to watch this portion of this video to learn how to do it.
Can It Stand On Its Own When Folded?
No. It also doesn’t have a shoulder strap for you to hang this on to your shoulder to carry it when folded. You have to use either of the handles to carry it.
Does It Have A Child And A Parent’s Tray?
No. Because it doesn’t have a child tray, you can keep your child’s sippy cup under the seat which has a small basket. The absence of a parent tray would also mean that you have to consider getting a stroller organizer so that you can access important stuff immediately, such as your phone, or your drinks.
It does come with a cup holder on the sides, though. But it only can accommodate small bottles.
How’s The Storage Area
The only storage area that this stroller has is the small basket underneath the seat. It is very small that it cannot hold even a small diaper bag. A few things can fit in there – such as a diaper changing pad, sippy cup, a burp cloth, and maybe one or two small toys. Other than that, that’s it.
- Good for air travels/Ok for short trips overseas
- It can be used for children of up to 40 pounds, but not for younger babies who cannot support their necks yet (normally less than six months old)
- Weight: 9.5 pounds
- Length: 28.5 inches
- Width: 18.0 inches
- Height: 38.3 inches

Cheapest Place To Buy
Getting this stroller in and out of the car is very easy as it’s compact and lightweight. It also doesn’t need to eat up a lot of space in your car trunk or when you have limited storage at home.
This is one of the most affordable options when it comes to an umbrella stroller. But that doesn’t mean you have to be deprived of the BASIC features that you will need in order to use this comfortably.
First is the height of the stroller handle. Well, I’m fine with it not being tall enough because I’m only 5′, LOL. But what about taller parents, right? It wouldn’t be comfortable to walk with.
